第194回創薬科学セミナー「Determinants of blood clot structure/function with potential therapeutic implications for bleeding and thrombosis」

Blood clot formation, structure and lysis result from and are affected by complex interactions between plasma components, blood cells and the vessel wall. Structural aspects and composition of blood clots that alter functional properties of clots determine the risk of developing bleeding complications or thrombosis. In this lecture, a general overview is followed by a more detailed look into how coagulation factor XIII and the complement system affect clot formation, and a potential new role for tissue transglutaminase 2 is presented.
本セミナーでは、血液凝固に関しての基本的なイントロから始めて頂き、最終段階で作用する酵素反応系や補体成分について解説していただく。血管モデル系を用いての凝固システムやタンパク質架橋化酵素の関与に関しても紹介していただく。
