Recent research in pharmaceutical science has seen rapid advances in overlapping and fusion with various scientific fields that had conventionally been divided between different faculties the borders that once separated science, engineering, agriculture, pharmaceutical science and medicine have become increasingly blurred. The fusion of knowledge and technologies across multiple research fields is the key to creating the crossover scientific disciplines in which cutting-edge research and development can be realized. The Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences was founded to provide just such an advanced and specialized educational system, operated under an educational policy which aims to “educat personnel who are capable of research and development that integrates the academic foundations of many disciplines”. Under this educational policy, we welcome students who aim to contribute to solvinge the pharmaceutical-related issues faced in today’s he society, using innovative spirit supported by technical skills and knowledge rooted in an interdisciplinary approach that encompasses a wide range of scientific fieldces. This course evaluates through entrance examinations, and applicants are select according to: 1) basic ability in either organic chemistry or life sciences (biochemistry, molecular biology, and structural biology);2) basic ability in English communication and comprehension; and 3) personalt motivation and objectives in respect of preferred laboratory .
